Strategic Financial Services A.C.T was founded in 2016 by Daniel Wood and Caroline D’Ambrosio with a combined 32 years of experience.
With our banking experience, we know and understand how much the industry has changed – particularly since the ‘GFC’. We know the appetite for lending and most importantly, we know how to strategically structure the best financial options to meet the needs of our clients. We have access to the best products and have strong relationships with our large panel of lenders.
Daniel Wood - Director
An experienced Sales Executive and People Manager, with 20 years’ experience in the financial services industry in both Commercial Finance and Property Development.
Daniel has a commercial and professional approach, with a strong understanding of risk requirements that encompasses all lenders Credit risk requirements.
Daniel has a strong understanding of the local market particularly property industries and can comprehend and identify synergies and opportunities for borrowers and lenders.
Caroline D'Ambrosio - Director
Caroline has over 12 years banking experience across both consumer and business lending, with a great deal of knowledge of the products and services available that are not commonly known in the market or actively advertised by the banks.
As a Business Banking Manager for the last 8 years Caroline understands the importance of great customer service. Her experience is pivotal in determining how to position your finances to not only save you money, but maximise your investment and loans to give customers the flexibility they need.
Why the change from banking? The answer is that we want to be able to provide the best products to our clients on our own terms. Banking has taught us a lot. We have developed great industry knowledge; strong relationships with clients; and other professionals, however like anything, it does have its limitations and challenges. We have identified that we want the flexibility to offer an array of products from various financial institutions. Put simply, we do not want to be constrained nor do we want our client to have to accept the products being offered by only one particular lender. We are all about finding the most competitive, suitable and flexible options – and we have realised that there is a lot on offer out there if you know how to find it. We do.
What is our point of difference?
Experience: We have a great deal of practical banking experience between us. We know how the banks work; the challenges facing lenders; and what they are after. We also know what they don’t like.
Service: We understand the importance of great service and we think we are pretty good at it.
Personable: We don’t have a call centre or pre-recorded messages. We are accessible and personable and we can be contacted simply.
